ASK QUESTIONS! The cheapest awning price may turn out to be the most expensive in the long run.
Yes, there IS a difference. Be informed. It's easy to cut corners and reduce cost in awning construction.Ask your estimator about...
FRAME CONSTRUCTION
- frames constructed from thin-walled aluminum are easily damaged
- bad welds come apart
- painted poles and frames peel and chip
Our frames are constructed from 100% heavy-walled aluminum for lightness and strength, and professionally MIG-welded so joints are not only superior in strength, but visually appealing as well.
Our support poles are 3" X 3" for strength, and are powder-coated, NEVER painted, providing a permanent, baked-on enamel coating for a durable and attractive finish to your awning or canopy.
RAFTER SPACING
- wide rafter spacing leads to sagging covers
Our rafter spacing is always 24" - 32" for even fabric support and structural integrity that will shed rain, endure normal wind, and withstand normal snow loads.
INSTALLATION
- insufficient mounting hardware may save cost initially, but doesn't support the awning over time
Our installation team carries a variety of hardware to fit any wall type. Installation is quick and efficient, yet thorough, so our team does not get in the way of on-site construction or cause unwanted disturbance at home.
OTHER FRAMES:
BEYOND AWNINGS FRAMES:

FABRIC
- low-quality fabrics fade and tear, and often do not carry a manufacturer warranty
- cheap thread rots and deteriorates from sun and weather exposure
We use only the finest acrylic and vinyl fabrics, available in a wide variety of colors and patterns, and carrying a manufacturer warranty.
For necessary seams other than on our heat-welded roof cloths (corners, wings, valances, etc.), we use only the best sewing thread on the market, ensuring the longest seam life.
COVER CONSTRUCTION TECHNIQUES
- sewn seams on the awning roof leave holes causing leakage, deterioration as threads rot from sun exposure
- fabric screwed directly to the frame tears and stretches over time, causing sagging and wrinkling
Our capability to heat-weld both acrylic and vinyl fabrics allows us to create large covers without sewing panels together, eliminating unwanted holes and rotted seams in awning covers.
We use staple-in aluminum extrusions, allowing us to stretch covers tightly over frames. Finishing our awnings with PVC insert instead of unsightly screws makes covers disappear into the frames, while hiding and protecting staples.
